Kadema Hall houses the Art Department office, faculty offices, art education and history classrooms, studios for ceramics, printmaking, painting and drawing as well as new media art lab facilities and the Witt and Else Galleries at California State University, Sacramento. Royal Electric Company was subcontracted by XL Construction to perform the electrical portion Kadema Hall’s renovation.

Royal Electric’s scope of work involved installing a complete electrical system, including correct lighting and power distribution, lighting controls, transformers, panels, electrical and data outlets, data pull strings, testing, fire sealing, roof jacks, emergency power requirements, and support materials. Electrical connections to equipment provided by other contractors and the owner were also provided. Additionally, Royal was responsible for hooking up and maintaining temporary power and lighting for the project during construction.
