This project involved the rehabilitation and reconstruction of Taxiways L and M abeam Runway 17R-35L and associated taxiway connectors between the taxiway and hold bar at Denver International Airport. Construction activities included the removal and replacement of deteriorated concrete slabs and concrete sealant on the taxiways. Additionally, surface painted pavement markings were refreshed and surface drainage and slope issues were resolved. Royal upgraded the airfield lighting system with new LED fixtures, transformers, cables, and guidance signs as well as reconstructing the ALSF Station.

Installations included:

  • 650,500 LF of cable
  • 1 30KW CCR, 5 20KW CCR’s, and 1 10KW CCR
  • 5,400 LF of conduit
  • 1 4’x4’x’4 handhole
  • 2,275 LED light fixtures
  • 305 base cans
  • 119 guidance signs.
