This project involved fire alarm system replacements for Eureka and Kadema Halls as well as the Facilities Annex at California State University, Sacramento. The goal of the project centered around providing complete and functional fire alarm systems with correct transformers, panels, devices, testing, labelling, and support materials to meet building needs, applicable codes, and industry standards.

Royal crews worked to ensure that fire alarm down time was kept as minimal as possible, maintaining the existing system’s functionality until the new system was installed and tested.

Royal Electric’s scope of work included providing electrical pathways for the fire alarm cabling, back boxes for the fire alarm equipment, 120V power to new fire alarm panels and associated power supplies, firestopping for new pathway penetrations, concrete scanning and coring between floors and wall penetration as well as a pathway tie-in between the Kadema Hall north and south buildings.
