With more than four decades of wide-ranging experience in the electrical construction industry, Dan brings a robust set of skills and expertise to every project. He started with Royal as a journeyman electrician and was gradually given the opportunity to handle increasing levels of responsibility while working on a variety of projects, including airport, underground, commercial, and industrial.
While his early career experience was primarily in field work, he worked nights to broaden his understanding of the administrative and project management sides of industry, completing the UC Davis Construction Project Management Certificate Program in 2006. During his tenure as a Superintendent, Dan used his calm, steady demeanor to mentor our current field leaders of today – training them to always focus on the quality of work and safety as top priorities. This integrity has come to be trusted by Dan’s clients and peers, and his word is good as gold to all who work with him.
As Project Executive, and previously Regional Manager for Northern California airport and underground projects, Dan continues to mentor young leaders in both technical electrical skills and successful project management. His favorite part of his job is coaching rising stars and helping them achieve their full potential in the industry.
Dan is the proud father of four children and four amazing grandchildren. He enjoys off-road motorcycling and sports, especially basketball, in his downtime.
“I think very few companies are as diverse as Royal in the type of work that they do. I’ve enjoyed being able to build many different types of projects from commercial buildings and schools to airports. It’s a great place to grow your career and build interesting projects!”
